Educational experiences should be exploratory and inspire students to take owernship of their education, inspiring the minds, bodies, and senses of each of our learners.
This principle served as the foundation of our school in 1935, and as we stand on the leading edge of best practices in education and child development, it continues to lead our school today.

Each advancement and change to our program and campus is carefully researched to improve student life and learning.

The MakerSpace is a dynamic lab that replaced an outdated computer lab where students can tinker, program, and experiment with circuits, building bricks, and everyday objects to create unique projects that answer questions about the world around them, and even analyze its microscopic moving parts.

Hillbrook also embarked on a two-year study that included the expertise of Hillbrook faculty, staff, and Bretford Furniture that yielded the re-imagination of flexible classroomsAcross campus and grade levels, students are equipped with movable and multi-purpose tables, benches, and chairs that can wiggle, move, and transform the space.

Everyday learning tools including
tablets, green screens, and high definition televisions are intentionally present in labs and classrooms to place an entire globe's worth of learning resources directly into the hands of our students.
