Hillbrook Alumni Return to Campus for Annual Basketball Games and 80th Anniversary Celebration!
This year marks an extra-special date for the hundreds of alumni - from near and far - who returned to Hillbrook to reunite with classmates, teachers, other families, and play in the Annual Alumni Basketball Games. This year, we also honored Loukas Angelo ('15) and announced the renaming of the Alumni Basketball Games in his honor. Later in the evening, the 80th Anniversary Celebration really kicked off with fun Hillbrook-themed activities, tours, and opportunities to share memories and moments throughout Hillbrook's rich history.
The basketball games were full of spirit and nail-biting anticipation; both games went to the alumni! After the games ended, the 80th Anniversary Celebration began, bringing together alumni families throughout the decades through an evening of celebration, great food, and tons of Hillbrook memories.
Our students and teachers are enjoying the new pianos that have found homes in each of our music classrooms, two independent and generous contributions from Hillbrook families.
The Boe Family - Maria, Quintin, Hailey ('16), and Jacquiline Boe ('19) - donated the beautiful piano that is now making music in Elisabeth Crabtree's classroom. Hailey now attends Santa Catalina and Jacquiline is currently in 6th grade at Hillbrook.
The Bonelli Family - Shelley, Steve, AJ ('10), and Katherine ('15) Bonelli - donated the beautiful piano in Kristin Engineer's classroom. Katherine graduated 2015 and attends St. Francis High School. Meanwhile, AJ graduated 2010 and attends Boston College.
We are so deeply grateful for these thoughtful new additions to our music classrooms and look forward to having them be a part of many student experiences and stories for years to come!
