It takes a village to raise our children, and your family is a part of ours.
The impact of the COVID-19 crisis is being felt throughout the world and certainly within our communities. In a time of uncertainty, Hillbrook is committed to supporting our families and the community that we all love and cherish.

"Amidst this crisis, current families are reaching out to us and asking for our help in numbers we have not seen since the 2008 recession. For these families, one of their highest priorities is ensuring their children will be able to remain at Hillbrook not only for the next two months but throughout the upcoming school year." - Mark Silver, Head of School

Supporting our Families: Resources for Children & Adults
While we know that each family's story and circumstance is unique, we also know that along with an extended shelter-in-place, families juggling multiple roles and responsibilities, growing and stretching in ways we never imagined.

Hillbrook has built a library of family resources, stocked with a variety of activities and learning opportunities designed to keep children and families engaged, learning, and connected during this time.

On this page, you will also find a wealth of adult resources, curated by school leadership, to help parents/guardians promote play, learning, family/child health, and wellness as we navigate this time.

During a Middle School Reach Beyond Block, middle school students supported their lower school buddies by creating a wide selection of arts and crafts, activities, musical performances, and messages of warmth and encouragement.
Families Helping Families: Support Hillbrook Family-Owned Businesses
Over the past two months, we have all learned about the importance of supporting local businesses that remain open. Many of our own families are operating businesses that are providing essential services during this time. Hillbrook families can help other Hilbrook families by supporting their businesses at this time.

Supporting our Employees
A tenet of Hillbrook’s Strategic Plan, Vision 2020, prioritizes employee health and wellness. As we navigate this challenging and unexpected time, providing support and care for our tireless team of faculty and staff remains at the forefront of our distance-leanring initiatives.
