The Hillbrook Benefit

The Benefit is our annual all-school community celebration benefiting Flexible Tuition at Hillbrook - a special evening with dancing, dinner, and a Silent Auction with items donated directly from our community. All net proceeds support Flexible Tuition, a program that benefits over 30% of our families and is essential to our commitment to maintaining an economically diverse student body. In 2025, the Benefit raised almost $300,000 in support of this keystone program!

Sponsored by the Hillbrook Parent Association, the Benefit is attended by current and former Hillbrook families, faculty, staff and their guests - our families look forward to it every year.

A key component of Flexible Tuition is our Reach Beyond Scholars Program, an initiative that includes wrap-around support for first-generation students in 6th-11th grade who are on track to be first in their families to graduate college. Direct gifts are available at various support levels.

You can also give to the Reach Beyond Scholars Program in the Silent Auction or by contacting us at benefit@hillbrook.org. All donations are 100% tax-deductible and can be corporate matched!

The Silent Auction is a great way to bid on unique gifts and experiences you won't find anywhere else - every item is donated or gifted by Hillbrook families.

Popular Silent Auction items have included:

• Stays and getaways in a vacation home (e.g. beach, ski, golf, adventure, international - all are welcome and appreciated!)

• Sports, concert, and event tickets

• Tours or workshops related to your area of expertise, profession, or hobby (cooking, candle-making, sushi rolling, flower arranging, surfing...)

• Unique experiences: a scavenger hunt, cooking/dining with a chef, or a behind-the-scenes tour of a cool venue or business

• Access to private golf courses, planes, and workspaces

• Wines and top-shelf spirits

• Airline miles to round out a getaway package

Benefit parties are super-fun experiences that are imagined, sponsored, and hosted by Hillbrook parents and teachers - and each seat sold is a donation to Flexible Tuition!  Parties can be kid-friendly, family-friendly, or a getaway for the grownups - anything and everything from game nights to magic shows to wine tasting to craft afternoons in the Hub (and those are just a few). • Purchase a student celebration page in the digital Auction catalog.
• Sponsor the event to help cover the costs with a tax-deductible donation
• Bid on Silent Auction items. You do not need to be present to bid; simply Register on the Hillbrook Benefit Microsite and use your smartphone to donate, bid on Silent Auction items and buy Benefit Party tickets. Items will be open to view in February.
• Volunteer your time before the event (solicitations, thank-a-thons, and more)
